Development Cooperation

Cooperation between the user community and Ex Libris on development has grown substantially over the years to the mutual benefit of both sides. In the meantime it covers all aspects of product development:

  • fixed procedures for enhancement requests
  • collaborative testing of existing products,
  • development and implementation partnerships for new products,
  • joint focus groups on major new product developments and on strategic topics in the library world.

The framework for this cooperation is described in the newly updated Product Development Collaboration Agreement of May 13, 2008 between Ex Libris, IGeLU and ELUNA . This general agreement constitutes also the base for the product-specific agreements which will be updated or implemented accordingly.
