New Client Interface (2001-2005)

The first Ex Libris User Interface Seminar with ICAU took place in November 2001 in Hamburg, Germany. The main task of the seminar was to establish an organizational and methodological framework for a long term process of development collaboration concerning the new client interface. The whole process of the new client interface development should take about 12 – 18 months for all modules. Read more →

Timeline and activities

The Group was formed February 2004.

  • April 2004 – The team has iterated through 4 drafts of the Reports, titled “Functionality for a New ALEPH Staff Permissions Module”.
  • June 2004 – Final report submitted to Ex Libris, discussion on the Requirement Specifications.

Course Reserves (2005- )

Goals

The Course Reserves Focus Group began work in December 2005 and submitted a list of ideas for fixing the Reserves Module to Ex Libris at the end of January 2006. The goal is to achieve improvements for the Reserve Module in version 19 of ALEPH500. Read more →
