E-Book report
A joint IGeLU and ELUNA Focus Group issued a report in April, 2008 on Recommendations and Requirements for E-Book Functionality across the entire Ex Libris product line. E-books present libraries with a number of new challenges in management, discovery, and linking that are not adequately addressed by the systems now used to support e-journals. Representatives from the Focus Group will present the key points from their analysis and recommendations, and Kathryn Harnish of Ex Libris will explain the company’s plans for addressing the needs identified by the Group.
