Ex Libris comments on the results of the first round of voting for MetaLib software enhancements (December 2007-January 2008) are available.

After serious discussions between the IGeLU and ELUNA MetaLib Enhancement Committees and Ex Libris MetaLib Product Manager Karen Groves, we are pleased to announce that we have come to an agreement.
The requests that received 10 votes or more (22) were evaluated by Karen Groves and the MetaLib development team for possible implementation in minor release 4.3, planned for this year.
Of these, 14 will be implemented completely or partially in release 4.3, or have already been implemented in previous Service Packs.
Moreover, 3 request with less than 10 votes will also be implemented in release 4.3.
A number of other requests are being evaluated for implementation in future releases.
