Getting Started with LC BIBFRAME Data in Alma

The ELUNA/IGeLU Linked Open Data Community of Practice Working Group is hosting a  “Getting Started with LC BIBFRAME Data in Alma” Community of Practice on Tuesday, April 22, at 12 noon (ET). Attendees will have access to guided instruction materials in advance of the meeting, which will walk through several techniques for importing, updating, and deleting linked data records in Alma using the Bibliographic Records and Inventory API. During the session, we will briefly review the instruction materials, leaving most of the hour for discussion and Q&A.

This session is designed for those who want to learn about importing and working with BIBFRAME data in Alma, but is open to everyone who is interested in linked data in Alma. While programming experience may be helpful, it is not required.

Alma requires activation to use the BIBFRAME features covered in this session. We recommend enabling these features in your sandbox or production environment to explore the techniques firsthand.
