Reduced registration fees at the IGeLU Annual Conference. The annual conference includes workshops, presentations, and seminars on the use of Ex Libris products. Many Ex Libris staff attend the Conference which offers a great opportunity to talk directly to the Ex Libris Product Managers and Developers.
Access to New Enhancements Request System (NERS). NERS is a joint collaboration product between IGeLU and Ex Libris Users on North America (ELUNA). NERS is a tool for logging development requests for Ex Libris products and managing voting during enhancement cycles. NERS is the way for IGeLU members to submit their enhancement requirements to Ex Libris and influence product development.
Access to members only section of the IGeLU website which includes embargoed customer presentations.
Membership in IGeLU allows you to participate in Working Groups. Working Groups are responsible for coordinating enhancement requests for each of the products within the Ex Libris suite; organizing the product-based sessions at the annual conference; liaising with counterparts in ELUNA; and acting as the contact point for product-specific concerns. Working Groups hold regular meetings with the corresponding Ex Libris Product Managers.
Membership in IGeLU provides you with professional development opportunities by allowing members to take on leadership roles in the Steering Committee and Working Groups and as a mechanism to connect with other Ex Libris users across the international community.
In addition if your Institution has never been a member of IGeLU then the first year’s membership is free and there is no obligation to renew.
