Library Tour at The Black Diamond

The tour takes place in our more recent building, The Black Diamond, and in the old part of the library, the Holm and Hansen buildings. You can learn about the architecture, history, cultural activities and work of the library.

Library Tour at University Library

Take a stroll through our university’s library and delve into its rich history. Our guides will walk you through the library building, sharing intriguing insights into its architecture and significance. As you wander, catch sight of some of the university’s oldest buildings from the outside, offering a glimpse into the past. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the university’s old prison cellar, where names of students from the 1600s are etched into the walls, a testament to the institution’s long-standing legacy. Before or after the tour, feel free to explore the building independently. Check out the poster exhibition for a brief overview of the university’s history and the building’s significance.

Harbor Cruise in North Harbor

Discover Copenhagen’s harbor transformation on the city’s only architecture cruise. To glide along the harbor today, it’s hard to comprehend that just a few decades ago, Copenhagen’s waterway was choking with industrial sites. Where cargo ships, warehouses, and polluted water could once be found – today the harbor has been transformed with swimmers, pleasure boats, and innovative sustainable architecture.
