Mr Ashok Ahir, President of the National Library for Wales
Ashok Ahir is the President of the National Library for Wales – a position he has held since September 2021.
He leads the governance and strategic direction of the Library – which houses tens of millions of books, manuscripts, archives, maps, pictures, photographs, newspapers, sound and film, at its headquarters in Aberystwyth.
He is also the President and Chair of the National Eisteddfod of Wales – one if the largest cultural festivals in Europe.
