IGeLU 2023 Conference – Call for Proposals

The IGeLU 2023 Conference Program Planning Committee is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the hybrid IGeLU 2023 Conference and Developers’ Day, 11-14 September, 2023: https://proposalspace.com/calls/d/1523. The Conference theme is “Libraries enabling innovation”.

This year’s conference is hosted by KU Leuven (Belgium), one of Europe’s oldest and major universities that will celebrate its 600th anniversary in 2025. You will find a general overview of the Conference at https://igelu.org/igelu-2023-conference-program-overview/.

We are again using ProposalSpace to manage submissions and programme scheduling. You do not need to submit your full presentation now. A title, abstract and the names of your co-presenters (if any) will be enough to get started. ProposalSpace will ask you to create an account, so you can save and edit a proposal before you submit it.

A Conference session length is 30 minutes (25 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A), a Developers’ Day session is 15 or 30 minutes long. Please bear this in mind when considering your presentation. (submission deadline: Sunday, 23 April 2023). Because this is again a hybrid even, we will accept physical and virtual sessions. You can submit proposals related to Ex Libris or Innovative products or to any strategical topic.

You are warmly invited to send your proposals as soon as possible! Looking forward to seeing you all in beautiful Leuven in September.

Any questions? Please contact us at proposals@igelu.org for questions related to the submission process and at conference@igelu.org for any other question.
