Leganto Enhancements Voting Results

The annual enhancements process is a key part of the Product Development Collaboration Agreement, between IGeLU, ELUNA, and Ex Libris, with Roadmap commitment for successful requests.

Participation, including the ability to submit and vote on enhancement requests for products that your institution licenses, is a benefit of IGeLU or ELUNA (individual or consortia) membership, via login to NERS (New Enhancements Request System).

The process is managed collaboratively by the two Leganto Working Groups (WGs): IGeLU Leganto WG and ELUNA Leganto WG. Members from both WGs participate in a joint Enhancements Team, led by an Enhancements Coordinator from each WG, with oversight by the IGeLU and ELUNA WG Coordinators.

Development Points

Leganto was allocated 50 points starting from 2022 with the 2021 revision of the Product Development Collaboration Agreement. For the first year of enhancements voting in 2018, Leganto had 30 points and 40 points from 2019 to 2021 as per the 2018 Addendum on Leganto.

More information can be found on the Product Development Collaboration Agreement page.

2017 Leganto Enhancement Results

The 2017 cycle was a prioritization exercise only; there was no commitment from Ex Libris to develop enhancements as Leganto was not yet part of the Product Development Collaboration Agreement between Ex Libris, IGeLU and ELUNA.

The Leganto Working Group reviewed 20 requests collated by Ex Libris during implementations, with early adopter customers that were ‘live’ with Leganto.
