The IGeLU Primo Working Group works closely alongside the ELUNA Primo Working Group in consultation with Ex Libris Primo Product Management, as well as collaborating on various initiatives across IGeLU and ELUNA groups.

- NDE Customisation Focus Group for the NDE UI, with core group from January 2024, and extended to full group from October 2024
- Testing possibilities for customers planned
during 2024in early 2025- UPDATE: In November 2024 this was pushed again to March 2025, and by request to an OTB Ex Libris environment
UPDATE: In August 2024 it was advised that the first view broadly available to customers outside the Focus Group was pushed from the November 2024 Release to the February 2025 Release
- Production availability anticipated from the May 2025 Release
- UPDATE: In September 2024 it was advised that all elements will not be available in the first general release, including consortia functionality, but would be available by end of 2025
- Linked Data experience
- Linked Open Data Focus Group from mid 2023, through May 2024
- First phase in 2024 within the current New UI, with release of the Related Persons feature in May 2024
- User engagement analytics
- Primo Engagement Analytics (Mixpanel) Focus Group started March 2024, through 2024 into 2025
- Early adopter phase planned in 2024
- An open call was issued in late July 2024, for an early adopter group in September, October, and November 2024
- Production availability anticipated from the May 2025 Release, as the exclusive Analytics platform for the NDE UI
- Taking advantage of new AI technology
- AI-powered Research Assistant – Beta Program Focus Group intensive 8 week program run late June through August 2024
- First release planned for
November 2024February 2025- UPDATE: First beta release availability as of the September 2024 Release Update, as announced at the IGeLU Conference (9 Sept)

- Technical consultation meetings began in early 2024 with senior experienced members of the Primo Developer community in an NDE Customisation group for the NDE UI – 1st in late January and 2nd in late August, with consultation also during the IGeLU Conference in September
