In 2023, the new Leganto User Interface (UI) was officially launched, bringing changes that impacted the community as institutions planned and executed their transition to the new UI. While some institutions embraced the new UI early on, many opted to plan their transition for a later date. Recognising the importance of a smooth transition and the value of shared experiences, the IGeLU Leganto Working Group sought to support the community through sharing tips, practical advice and ideas that might not be covered in official documentation.
The IGeLU Leganto Working Group launched a video showcase featuring short, focused videos that cover various aspects of preparing for and executing the transition to the new Leganto UI. The content covered in the videos is designed to provide actionable ideas and guidance based on the firsthand experiences of working group members.
To kick off the showcase, working group members have recorded a selection of videos (from 5 to 20 minutes each) covering essential topics:
- Key communications for instructors
- Configurations to consider
- Sending list changes
- Choosing Leganto colours
- Tracking and updating labels
