The IGeLU Steering Committee and Program Planning Committee are pleased to announce that the call for presentations for the IGeLU 2022 Conference & Developers’ Day is now open. You are invited to submit proposals via Proposalspace.com at : https://proposalspace.com/calls/d/1411
Developers’ Day will take place on Monday 12th September, and the Conference from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th September. The preliminary plan is to have a hybrid conference which can be attended either digitally or on-site in Cardiff, Wales, but a final decision on conference format will be made and communicated later this month. Presentations may also be done either remotely or on-site, but will be hosted on Zoom either way – all presenters are thus encouraged to consider how best to deliver their presentations in a digital environment.
This years’ conference theme is Still here! – the library in a new normal. Please interpret this as you see fit. Presentations at Developers’ Day can be either 15 or 30 minutes long, whereas presentations at the main conference will be 25 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A.
Colleagues new to ProposalSpace will need to create an account in order to submit a proposal – this is straightforward and no charge is made to the proposal submitter. Proposals will be reviewed and accepted/declined continuously.
General information about the 2022 conference can be found at the IGeLU website at https://igelu.org/archive-of-presentations/2022-cardiff/. If you have any questions about ProposalSpace or other issues, please contact us at the conference email address: conference@igelu.org. More information will be circulated in due course.
We hope to see you all, in Cardiff or online, in September 2022!
