Introducing New Members:
This was a year of almost all new members for the Voyager Working Group. New members of the Voyager Work Group are: Steve Pellow, Falmouth University, Suzanne Picken, Washington Research Library Consortium, Suzanne Sprague, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Antonella Ward, Angelo State University. Special thank you to last year’s members who rotated off of this group: Nicholas Volk, National Library of Finland; Carla Redden, Kentucky College; Jeannette Thompson, Tulane University; Miriam Nauenburg, University of West Georgia; Kim Edwards, George Mason University. Also special thank you to Hao Zeng, who needed to leave the group due to a new position at another institution. Due to Hao’s departure, there is now an open spot in this group. If you are interested in joining, please reach out to the VPWG chair, Cindy Greenspun or Voyager’s IGeLU SC liaison, Dave Allen.
Ex Libris System Status Page (updated):
Mid-October, Ex Libris announced the updated system status page, which now includes the single tenant hosted environments, including Voyager. I am pleased to report that this is the result of discussions with customers and the ELUNA and IGeLU Steering Committees. The updated System Status page can be found here.
Voyager Release Updates:
- Voyager 10.1 is currently in development, with release planned for Q2 2018.
- Voting for Voyager 11 is scheduled for November 13, 2017 to December 8, 2017. The ballot contains 57 enhancements, including some that may have appeared on past ballots.
